Here is an easy chocolate chip cake...its not hard to make and it turns out AMAZING!!
1 3/4 cups boiling water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine or butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cocoa
12 ounces chocolate chips
Pour water over oatmeal and let stand for 10 miuntes.
Add sugars and margerine and mix well.
Add eggs and mix.
Add dry ingredients except chips and mix.
Add 1/2 of the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into greased 9x13 pan.
Top with the remaining chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Here is another easy but SO DELICIOUS cake...
Cinnamon Sugar Loaf-
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 beaten egg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350掳 and grease and flour a 9x5x3'; loaf pan.
Mix 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and remaining 1 cup sugar in a large bowl.
Combine egg, milk and oil and add to flour mixture.
Stir by hand just until moistened.
Pour half the batter into prepared loaf pan.
Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon mixture, then draw a knife through batter to marble.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool on a wire rack.
Wrap and store bread overnight before slicing.Does anyone know any quick and easy cake recipes?

Mayonnaise Cake
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup cold coffee
1 cup mayonnaise
4 T. baking coco
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix altogether and bake in 13x9 pan at 350 until done. It is very moist.

CORNBREAD CAKE
1 1/2 CUPS SELF RISING FLOUR

pour a can of cherry or strawberry pie filling in 9 x 13 pan, pour can of crushed pineapple over that, pour box of dry cake mix over that, melt stick of butter and pour over cake mix, bake at 350 about 30 min. yum!
can add nuts
mandy your cake sounds delicious, try it with strawberries instead of cherries!
personally, I think cupcakes rule, but get a boxed cake mix and follow the directions. If you can read, you can bake
Pineapple Angel Food Cake I
Delicious and soooooooo very easy.
INGREDIENTS
1 (16 ounce) package angel food cake mix
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch pan with vegetable oil spray.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pineapple (with juice). Mix until well blended.
Pour batter into prepared 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
Serve with whipped topping
get a chocolate cake mix. mix it according to the directions. just before you pour it into the baking dish, add a whole can of Cherry Pie Filling. mix in slowly, until it's well blended.
bake the cake according to the directions. maybe a little bit longer...it makes the cake a little bit fudgy, instead of cakey
frost it with chocolate iceing when it's cool.
it's SOOO good.....that is if you like cherry's - i cant ever make it at my house b/c my husband hates cherry's and if i make it, i will end up eating the whole thing....and thats not good.
