Does anyone have quick and easy recipes?

I have lots, what are you looking for? Appetizers, Main dishes, side dishes or dessert? Chicken, Beef, Pork or Vegetarian? Let me know=)


Here's a quick menu


Salsa


One white onion quartered


2 cloves garlic peeled and crushed


Put in food processor until large 1/2 chunks are left


Add:


1 can whole peeled tomato's (drained)


1/2 sm. can of green chili's


sm. handful of cilantro leaves (fresh)


Blend until desired consistency is reached...add jalapenos or hot sauce if you want hot salsa.








Quick Gumbo





Put 1-2 pds raw chicken cubed into a crockpot


Add 1/2 pd of cooked chorizo sliced


Add 1 cn of stewed tomatos


1 onion sliced


3 celery stalks sliced


2 cups of carrots sliced


3 cups chicken broth





Put it all in the crockpot and set it on low for 6-7 hours


it takes about 10 minutes of prep...when it's done you can add thawed okra slices for the last 20 minutes and shrimp also.





Add some rice and it makes a great meal!








For dessert buy either an angel food cake or a pound cake from the store, thaw out some coolwhip and right before serving slice the cake, add some coolwhip and fresh berries...it's a great summer dessert!Does anyone have quick and easy recipes?

Fast Chicken Marsala





2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts


salt and white pepper


flour, for dredging


1 T. olive oil


1 T. butter


1/4 C. Marsala wine


1/4 C. chicken stock


1/3 C. sliced fresh mushrooms





Cut each chicken breast in half, and pound between layers of plastic wrap until each is about 1/4-inch thick. Season lightly with salt and white pepper and dredge in flour. Heat olive oil and butter in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Shake off excess flour from chicken breasts and saute about 2 minutes per side until lightly browned.





Add Marsala, chicken stock and mushrooms. Reduce to a simmer, and cook until mushrooms soften and sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Serve with a side of pasta.





Makes 2 servings.





Impossible Ham and Swiss Pie





2 cups fully cooked ham, cubed


1 cup shredded swiss cheese (4 oz)


1/3 cup chopped green onions


4 eggs


2 cups milk


1 cup Bisquick baking mix


1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)


1/8 teaspoon pepper





Heat oven to 400潞F. Grease pie plate, 10x1-1/2 inches.





Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into plate.





Bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes.





Cool 5 minutes.








Fettuccini and Shrimp Recipe





1 lb. shrimp


1 package fresh fettuccini egg noodles


1/2 C. butter


1 C. heavy cream


salt


freshly ground pepper


1/2 C. fresh parmesan cheese grated





Cook fettuccini noodles in a pan of a boiling water. Cook to ala dente according to package directions. Drain and rinse well.





In a large saute pan, add 1/2 of the butter and melt it. Add the shrimp, cook for 2 minutes. Add the cream and the remaining butter. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Add pasta and toss. Top with parmesan cheese and serve.





Serves 4.

apple rice casserole:


mix apple shavings, cooked brown rice, and raw eggs in a microwave oven bowl then put into the microwave or oven until it looks cooked enough to you sprinkle with cinnamon- delicous!
Try some German recipes such as Potato salad, meatballs, meatloaf, pancake soup, apple cake.

Home made chicken pie:





1 Pillsbury pie crust( the kind in the dairy section that you must form into a pie pan)


Cooked chicken


1 can mixed veggies( drained)


1 can corn( opt )( drained )


2 cans cream of chicken soup( do not add water!)





Cut up chicken and mix in bowl with veggies, add soup.


Put 1 pie dough in 9'; pie pan


add chicken mix


cover with other pie dough.


Preheat oven to temp on pie dough box. Bake till dough is flakey.


Very easy recipe will feed a family of 4.
EASY TUNA CASSEROLE





1 pkg egg noodles


1 celery stalk (chopped)


1/2 med onion (chopped)


2-6 oz cans tuna (drained)


2-10.5 oz cans Cream of Mushroom Soup


3/4-14.5 oz can mixed peas and carrots (drained)


1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese


1/2 c. mozzerella cheese





Boil noodles as directed on package, adding onion and celery the last 1-2 minutes. Drain noodles and add tuna, soup and canned vegetables, stirring until well blended.


Spread into a 13x9 baking pan, spreading cheese on top.





Bake in oven at 350 degrees until melted.





EASY CHICKEN BROCCOLI CASSEROLE





2 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli


2 c. chicken, cooked and cubed


2 cans cream of chicken soup


1 c. mayonnaise


1 tsp. lemon juice


1/2 tsp. curry powder


1/2 c. Cheddar cheese (optional)


1/2 c. bread crumbs





Put broccoli in buttered baking dish (9x13). Put chicken pieces on top of broccoli. Mix soup and mayonnaise and seasonings and put this mixture over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese (if desired) and bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
Chicken catchatori. 2-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts. One can of your favorite spagetti sauce. Rinse and clean chicken and place in the proper size baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken making sure to spread around and under. Cook at 350 for about hour or 75 mins. Let sit for 10 mins after cooking. Serve hot to warm.
