Can you help me? I need some new quick and easy recipes or meal ideas?

Two of our three kids are gone now but all of our recipes and menu ideas are for six or more people. We're wasting lot's of money and food. We need something for four people that takes less than an hour to make. Looking for your basic American and Italian dishes - chicken, beef, pork, pasta, shrimp, etc. Although we like Chinese, we'll leave that type of cooking to them as they do it better than I do.

If you can write it out quickly then do so, otherwise just send a link if possible. ThanksCan you help me? I need some new quick and easy recipes or meal ideas?

I get a lot of recipes from this website. They are good, don't cost a lot and take usually 30 minutes to make. I cook for two people and there is always extra so there would be plenty to feed four people. This website is very friendly too...and it will show pictures of what all the dishes look like.

Search for mini meatloaf...it's my favorite and there are four variations to it.

Good luck! Can you help me? I need some new quick and easy recipes or meal ideas?
I live for the crock pot...

Here are some of my favorite recipes. I have a family of three and after 2-3 nights of cooking we have a leftover night and eat what is left.

Roast

2-3 lbs of Beef (roast meat)

1 Family Size Can of Cream of Mushroom

2 cans whole potatoes

2 cans sweet peas

2 cans mushrooms

2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasonings

Add it all in and let it cook all day....You can use any veggies you want. These are just the ones my family likes

Chicken Stuff

2-3 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, bite size pieces

I large bottle of ranch or 2 regular size bottles of ranch

1 large canister of Stove Top

Seasonings

Add the chicken and ranch together with garlic or any other seasonings you want. About 20-30 before serving mix in the stove top so it becomes soft, then serve
No recipes to share as I'm about to leave for work. I will take time to suggest you subscribe to Taste of Home magazines as they feature menu's for two along with the recipes in each monthly issue.

Or you can cheat as I do and visit the library and look at their copy. ~ grin ~

How about a pasta bake.

Cook 3 chicken breats in cajun seasoning in the oven. Cook 300g of pasta shapes. Chop and fry an onion until it starts to go brown. Then add a tin of chopped tomatoes, a glug of wine, some chopped chorizo and a teaspoon dried mixed herbs. Simmer for 10 mins. Stir in 4 tablespoons of double cream. Slice the chicken and mix with tomato mixture. Stir in the drained pasta well and put in ovenproof dish. Top with a 75g of grated cheese and bake til golden brown and melted. Servie with a salad or crusty bread.
Two Ramen soups, cheese and shrimp...Makes a great meal with low cost.
One of my FAVORITE quick things to do is take two talapia fillets (or whatever your favorite fish is, one per person) and ';bread'; them in grated Parmesan cheese. Pan saute in a small amount of olive oil (about 2 tsp per fillet). It'll take about 2-3 minutes per side to cook. Serve with your favorite vegetables. I like to serve it with broccoli %26amp; corn.

Enjoy!
try the fried shrimps with beer batter..... just pour on some beer and flour with salt...... dip the shrimps and fry them till golden... then make a dip for that using half cup of mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of mango puree and chopped parsley... it's all set... eat them with fresh green salad.

or if you like rice..... just make some fried rice meal...... just buy some ground beef.... marinate them with a little lemon and salt..... stir fry them...... put the rice and some diced vegetables like carrots and peas..... and some chopped egg omelette..... and drizzle it with oyster sauce.... keep stirring till done.

try baked mussles with cheese...... have them clean and open then boil them in a water with ginger.... then get each mussle and have them scattered in a flat baking dish.... drizzle each piece with cream..... garlic powder.....quickmelting cheese and chopped parsely..... have them bake in 350 degrees farenheit in 10-15 mins... till cheese melts... then when done drizzle the mussles with lemon juice.... and try them with rice or green salad...... !

one pot dish..... buy some beef shank and cook it in a pressure cooker with salt and water..... till done.... then put some sweet corn, strips of cabbage... and spring onions... and crushed whole peppercorns then bring them to boil again till the vegetables are done...... put some salt to your taste... then you have a hearty soup meal you can have with rice.
