What are some fun quick and easy recipes for potatoes?

Yummy Potatoes, aka Funeral Potatoes





This is my mom's version of funeral potatoes. I love these!





32 oz frozen shredded potatoes


1/2 cup melted butter


1 can cream of chicken soup


12 oz. sharp cheddar cheese


8 oz. sour cream


1/2 small onion diced (sometimes I use a little bit of minced onion instead)





Mix together everything except for the shredded potatoes. Stir shredded potatoes into the mixture and then pour into a buttered 9X13 casserole dish. Bake at 350 uncovered for 45 minutes. Stir potato mixture together again and transfer into a serving bowl.





Optional: Melt 1/4 cup butter and mix with 2 cups crushed corn flakes.


Sprinkle on top of potato mixture before baking. Bake 350 uncovered for 45 minutes.What are some fun quick and easy recipes for potatoes?
Parmesan Potato Rounds





4 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced


1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings


2 tbls butter or margarine, melted


录 cup grated Parmesan cheese


录 tsp salt


1/8 tsp pepper


1/8 tsp garlic powder








Place half the potatoes in a greased 2 quart or 11 x 7 x 2 baking dish. Top with onion and remaining potatoes. Drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bake, uncovered, at 450 for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and tender. 4 servings.What are some fun quick and easy recipes for potatoes?
Cut them into cubes, chuck them in a bag with some mixed herbs, salt %26amp; pepper, or anything else that tickles your fancy (or cheat by buying a McCormick Italian Herb Potatoes satchet - yum!!) and toss them in the bag to coat. Heat your oven to approx 180 degrees celsius and place your coated potato cubes on a greased tray and bake until tender and golden brown. EASY!!
Savory stewed potatoes





serving 4


preparation time 15 min


cooking time about 30 min.





5 to 6 medium potatoes,peeled.


2 tbsp butter or margarine.


1 medium onion, chopped.


1 medium green peeper thinly sliced.


11/2 to 2 tbsp all purpose flour.


dash black pepper.


1 bouillon cube ( any flavor) ';';I like chicken ';.


1 cup boiling water.


chopped parsley.


1/2 of a big red pepper or 1 small thinly sliced.





#1. melt butter in a 10-inch skillet with cover , add onion and green pepper, saute till onion is tender.





#2stir in flour and pepper.





#3. dissolve bouillon cube in the boiling water , stir in to mixture.





#4. cut potatoes in wedges arrange in skillet.





#5. bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.





#6. sprinkle with parsley and red peppers





for 2 servings just half the ingredients but you might need to add some more water.





for 8 servings double ingredients but use 2 skillets ..
This is such an easy and quick recipe,it's sure to become a favourite.My 9 year old daughter makes this up whenever we have a bbq and it always comes out tops!!!!





Creamy,cheesy, Potato's





4 - 5 POTATO'S


1 SACHET FRENCH ONION SOUP


1 BY 300ML FRESH CREAM


GRATED CHEESE


1 TABLESPOON BUTTER





Peel,rinse , slice potato's into rounds.Drain.





Heat 1 tablespoon butter in pot.Throw potato's in.


Mix . add in 1/4 (boiling )cup water.Cook for 3 to 4 minutes only!





Layer slices in a flat dish.Sprinkle french onion soup powder over.Pour fresh cream evenly.Repeat layering until potato's are used up.(Finish off with cream layer)2 or 3 layers is perfect.


Sprinkle liberally with grated cheese.


OPTIONAL:Crush some cheese and onion flavour chips on top.


Pop into a hot oven to melt cheese and heat through.15-20 minutes.
if its for the kids !


try making potato balls (use a melon baller )


take as many and just fry em up !


keep and fry the skeleton also (weird shape )





also slice and use small cookie cutters again either fry ,boil ,bake,or add to soup for a special kid !





you can make your fav mashed potatos and also use larger cookie cutters to shape then fry or bake till crisp ...........
cut potatos in spears put in a bag with balsamic vinegar,rosemary,oil. grill or bake. they are realy good.
