What are some quick and easy recipes?

I want to cook something quick and easy for my family. They are very picky, (our ';cook'; is out of town)

I don't want to go out to the grocery store so i want to use some simple ingredients around the house like flour, milk, eggs, bread, cheese. I don't know, things like that.

Thanks =)

Chuck Wagon Weastern Bean Casserole

1 pound Hamburger or Ground Chuck

1 #4 can Pork and Beans

1 teaspoon Prepared Mustard

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

1 large Onion

1/2 cup Catsup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Saute the hamburger until quite brown and separated. Drain off any excess fat. Add the beans and the other ingredients. Stir well, taking care not to mash up the beans in the process. Place in a 1 1/2-quart covered casserole dish in a preheated 350*F oven for 40 minutes.

This is an excellent picnic dish because it can be prepared ahead of time and warmed right in the casserole on the grill outdoors.

Here is one of the easiest recipes I know to get you started:

Herbed Pasta with Cheese

1 lb pasta ( any kind you have in the pantry will do)

4 Tablespoons of butter

2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

1 teaspoon of oregano

1 teaspoon of basil

3 cloves of chopped garlic

1 1/2 cups of parmasean cheese

Boil your pasta in heavily salted water untill al dente (only slightly firm). Follow the directions of the box. While pasta is cooking, use a saucepan to melt your butter and olive oil together on a medium low heat. Add in garlic and saute for about 3 minutes. Next add in your spices. Toss with the cooked pasta and top with grated parmasean cheese. Serve with a salad, and you have a meal. The whole thing will only take you about 15 minutes from start to finish.
