ERGENT, quick and easy recipes?

I need some quick and easy recipes to prepare in front of my class tomorrow. I need your help pleaseERGENT, quick and easy recipes?
7 layer salad is easy:

1 head lettuce

6-8 hard-boiled eggs

1 bunch green onions, chopped

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped green peppers

1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas, thawed

3/4 lb bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

1 (1 ounce) package shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterrey jack)

Layer the ingredients in a large bowl in the order given. Mix the dressing (recipe follows) and spread over the salad to the edge of the bowl. Salad can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours or eaten immediately. Before serving, blend dressing and salad layers if desired.

DRESSING:

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp. vinegar

1/4 C. sugar or artificial sweetener

That would be a good side dish for ';Chicken in Pup Tents.';

For each serving, place a boneless, skinless chicken breast in the center of a square of aluminum foil. Season the chicken with one of the following: barbecue sauce, teryiaki sauce, lemon pepper, or your favorite chicken dry rub.

Place a peeled and quartered potato around the chicken, along with a peeled and sliced carrot, a few red or green pepper slices, and a few halved mushrooms. Season the veggies with salt and pepper and dot with margarine.

Fold up the foil to form a tight package, and bake at 350 degrees until chicken is done and veggies are tender -- 25 to 35 minutes average, depending on the thickness of the chicken breast.

And for dessert, how about a spectacular-looking strawberry trifle?

Place a layer of store-bought angel food cake cubes or pound cake in a large glass bowl. Top with a layer of sweetened sliced strawberries, and spread a layer of Cool-whip over the berries. Repeat until the bowl is full and garnish with some mint leaves and whole berries, if desired.

There ya have it -- a simple, but delicious meal that can be put together in under an hour.ERGENT, quick and easy recipes?
