Quick and Easy recipes that are kid friendly?

I have a 16 m/o and would like some kid friendly recipes for her and the whole family. Something that doesnt take too long to fix and that isn't too unhealthy. We do eat chicken and beef (not too often though) so vegetarian recipes would be great too. Thanks for all your help.Quick and Easy recipes that are kid friendly?

my kids love pasta, you could try with whole wheat pasta. We also enjoy making pizza together. It's pretty quick and you can use anything for a crust (pita, english muffins) and use pasta sauce if you don't have pizza sauce, and it's much healthier than restaurant pizza.

I don't know, I try to make healthy meals a few times a week, but I'm a busy single mom and we get home late sometimes. I see nothing wrong with sandwiches and soup for supper. Sometimes we make scrambled eggs and toast with fruit.
Grilled cheese sandwiches, fresh veggie sticks and french fries or oven fried potatoe wedges.
My son is super picky and this is one way I get him to eat his vegies with no fuss. You can also do the same thing with equal part carrot and turnip but instead of using mayo use milk and butter just like mashed potatoes.

Cauliflower mash

5 cups cauliflower florets

1 1/2 quarts water

1 clove garlic (optional)

1/4 cup hellmann mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon salt

Steam cauliflower and garlic for 15 minutes or until tender, drain well.

Blend or food process together the cauliflower, garlic, mayo and salt until creamy.

Serve.

Cheese on toast - popped into the oven or microwave until the cheese melts - add ketchup or brown sauce.

Beans on toast - again add some brown sauce.

~~~enjoy~~~
I think a fun one is to take breadstick dough and flatten it out. Then everyone can put a little sauce or cheese, or anything that sounds good in it. Then you just twist em up and bake them. Voila! Easy, fun, and good! : )
