Need some quick and easy recipes! I do not have a lot of time to cook and am on a limited budget!?

I am looking for some cheap 5-7 ingredient recipes (salt and pepper, olive oil are not included in the 5-7. They are a given) Any suggestions. I am trying to cook on a budget. Thanks a lot!Need some quick and easy recipes! I do not have a lot of time to cook and am on a limited budget!?
Frozen dinners already cooked - follow directions on the boxes or bags, can be cooked in microwaves or ovens. Stick with the big name brands for good taste. Add a can of veggies or frozen veggies as a side dish. Ask a clerk to show you where to find them.

Pre-cooked sealed meats found in the cold section (just pop into the microwave for a few minutes) such as baked ham, pot roast, chops, chicken, meatloaf, and so much more. Ask a clerk to show you where to find them.

Canned vegetables to add as a side dish.

Canned sweet potatoes to add as a side dish.

Canned potatoes to add as a side dish.

Frozen vegetables in large bags or small boxes. Heat in microwave. Ask a clerk to show you where to find them.

Fresh salad greens now come already cut up and in large packages. Buy the pre-washed types. All you have to do is add the salad dressing. Be sure to use by the date on the bag. Salads turn black and need to be thrown away if not used by the printed date on the bag.

Canned soups are delicious. Add a grilled cheese sandwich.

Fried egg sandwiche.

The supermarket's deli has delicious rotisserie/roasted chickens. They also have all types of side dishes for you to choose from.

But if you would like to cook from scratch, go to cooks.com where there are lots of easy recipes. Put this website into your ';Favorites';. At the website, scroll down the screen and read some of the dinner recipes. On the left hand side you will find categories.

Buy a crock pot, read the directions...you put your dinner recipe in the crock pot, turn the knob to low most of the time, and it will be cooking while you are away from your home.

There are jars of all types of sauces for all kinds of noodles. These are found on a shelf. Noodles are in packages, follow the directions...most of the time you will need a deep pan for boiling lots of hot water for the noodles.

A clerk can help you find these items.

You will find many brand named boxed dinners such as Pasta-Roni. There is a seasoned packet in each box.

(My favorite is Garlic %26amp; Olive Oil. I put more garlic powder in it 'cause I like to taste lots of garlic)

Ask a clerk if you need help in finding these boxed dinners.

Here is a website that offers a lot of different recipes for people on a budget. Most of the recipes have the number of ingredients you want. If you don't have a lot of time to cook, why not try crock pot/slow cooker meals. I've also listed a website for budget slow cooker receipes.
Recipes, especially casseroles, that use chicken and rice with onions and a green vegetable, are very affordable. You can see some on http://americanmadeyes.com/recipes.html and suggestions as to serve them. The recipes can be made the day before and reheated and improve in taste with the flavors developing fully.
chinese style chicken chow mein noodles

Cabbage hash:

Saute 1/2 lb sausage, remove from pan, then saute 1/2 a chopped white onion and add chop green cabbage (~1/2 head). Cook for about 7-8 min. Add some caraway seeds and a chopped apple. Add sausage back in, then finish with some apple cider vinegar. Sometimes I add some chopped potato or frozen homefries, sometimes not. Either way it serves ~4 people on the cheap.

frozen stew veggie mix

Here's my chili recipe (from the 5/15 book I mentioned):

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 onion, chopped

2 cans chili beans with sauce

2 cans stewed tomatoes

1 packet taco seasoning

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours. Enjoy with sour cream, cheddar cheese, or your choice of toppings. I like it over corn bread myself.
I am a huge fan of www.kraftfoods.com. It has quick and easy recipes, free and easy to find and print recipes, and even has a section on cooking with a small budget. :-)
Try googling inexpensive or budget recipes. There are literally thousands out there and many websites which specialize in low cost, healthy meals.
