You've asked the right person.! I am the queen of Crockpot cooking. For parties, I throw hamburg patties in gravy in one and hot dogs in saurkraut in the other. I cook pork chops in sauerkraut too. I often make stew( raw pieces of peeled potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and beef cubes. We love meatballs, so at least once a week I put raw meatballs in tomato sauce. Some of us make meatball hoagies, some put meatballs on pasta. Just be creative and Bon Apetite!
if you like polish sausage and sauerkraut put it in the crock pot with about a half a can of beer and let it cook for a couple hours. Sooo yummy

you whole house will smell perfect, but you will never want to leave, at least until the pot is empty

(BTW if you cook anything with wine only use half the bottle, at most, because you want to drink the rest with the meal)
This is so simple---------------2 to 3 #'s beef, cut into cubes. Packet of onion soup mix, can of cream of mushroom soup, can of sliced mushrooms,1/2 cup beef broth. Put into pot, cook on high for 1 hour, turn to low for 6 hours. The beef and gravey will go good over mash potato's, or rice, biscuits.
